Autonomous Agents Framework Design Production System

Risk-tiered AI agent system with local-first architecture

Designed and built an autonomous agent framework that classifies every action by risk tier before execution. Low-risk actions (reading data, generating summaries) run autonomously. Medium-risk actions (sending emails, updating records) require confirmation. High-risk actions (financial transactions, data deletion) require explicit human approval with full context.

The architecture is local-first — all data processing happens on-device or within the client's infrastructure. No data leaves the environment. This was a hard requirement for the regulated-industry clients this was built for.

Deliverables: System architecture document, risk classification framework, eval suite, implementation backlog, reference implementation.

Enterprise AI APAC Contact Center

Contact-center AI deployment for enterprise telco

Architected the AI layer for a contact-center transformation serving 3 markets across Southeast Asia. The system handles agent routing, intent classification, real-time sentiment analysis, and intelligent escalation logic.

The key challenge was integrating with legacy telephony infrastructure while maintaining sub-200ms response times for real-time agent assist. Designed a hybrid architecture with edge inference for latency-critical paths and cloud inference for complex reasoning.

Result: 34% reduction in average handle time within the first quarter post-deployment. Agent satisfaction scores increased 22 points.

Deliverables: System architecture, vendor selection rationale, integration specifications, eval framework, rollout plan across 3 markets.
